Bude Reserves 5 Sporting Barum

A team decimated by a flu virus, Bude
had to get stuck in to their task right from the start, and
within 10 minutes Stevie Box sent them on their way. Working
hard to establish control, the youngsters were soon scoring
their second with a Jamie Hopcroft thunderous header under the
crossbar. Sporting picked up a bit more determination and broke
through the home defence to give goalkeeper Aron Braund no
chance and reduce the arrears. Bude came out for the second
half with a very positive attitude and within 5 minutes had
scored two more. A thunderous shot by Wes Pugh from 25 yards,
followed by a spectacular chip over the visiting goalkeeper by
Billy Hopcroft. Again Sporting pulled a goal back, but with
that young Billy Hopcroft had come up with the goal again to
score his brace.
