BUDE RESERVES 4   NORTH MOLTON 4

 

Bude entertained North Molton on the back of two wins but knew it would be a tough test against a strong Molton side.

Bude started slowly and conceded twice in the first 15 minutes with two misunderstandings from the goalkeeper and the defence. However Bude replied superbly and scored a superb team goal from Josh Kerslake after a good cross from Dan Middleton. Bude then picked it up another level with some great one touch football and were awarded through a goal from Dave Youlden just before half time and could of gone in leading if Bickle had token his chance but the keeper tipped it onto the bar.

Bude were slow to start again after the break and conceded another two after some good finishes. With twenty minutes to go Bude got back in it through a penalty where Middleton was brought down and Kerslake converted. The equaliser came from Wes Pugh who smashed home from the edge of the box. Finally with ten minutes to go a molten player got sent off after a vicious elbow on Pugh which left all players sickened.
