After a ten nil win last week Bude were high on confidence but knew it would be much harder game this time round.

Bude started brightly and after only a minute could have taken the lead through Billy Hopcroft. However it was Bude who scored first after a mistake from the away keeper let Hopcroft scramble in the opener.  The rest of the first half was mainly in Budes half but it was Bude who had the best chance as Dave Youlden shot straight at the keeper midway through the half.

The second half was more Bude possession than the first half with centre backs Dan Starkey and Liam Sandercock controlling the play but couldn’t create the chances until ten minutes from time when Wes Pugh poked in Bude’s second. With only a couple minutes left Combe managed to score but it was too late.
