St.Blazey
3-1 Bude
St Blazey bounced back at the expense of Bude Town with a great team
performance. They fought for every ball and deservedly took the lead on
26 minutes, a great effort from Kim Tyler-Woods, who beat the opposing
defenders to score with a great shot. The lead only lasted 5 mins
when a shot from Bude deflected off a home defender and past the St
Blazey keeper. However, St Blazey were not going to lie down and they
continued to pressure every ball and a minute from the break they
regained the lead through Lauren Dowrick, who scored with a great turn
and
strike.
The second half continued much as the first St Blazey still in confident
mood although Bude tried as they did to get back on level terms St
Blazey were in no mood to give in. The home team continued to really
believe in themselves and with only 3 mins to go, St Blazey scored a
third. Again it was dowrick, with a great shot. The last few minutes, St
Blazey dug in to hold on to a well deserved victory.
