Saltash 7     Bude 2

Bude lost 2-7 to Saltash on Sunday 25^th November.  A shameful second half cancelled out a very strong first half with Emma Pemberton scoring 4 and Coral Smith 3 for the hosts.  Bude started well scoring first within 10 minutes – Leanne Stanbury knocking in from a cross.  The hosts scored 2 quick goals to make the score 1-2 at half time but a lot of the possession was with Bude who sliced through Saltash when they played their pretty football. The second half began well and although Saltash scored first, Bude responded well with good work from Katie Horstmann and Leona Marsh.  A fast and low cross across the box found Leanne Stanbury unmarked and she made it 2-4.  Saltash soon regained their 3 goal lead and unfortunately some Bude heads dropped along with the standard enabling the hosts to increase their leads.  Bude always had the potential to win this match but need to up their confidence for future matches.
