Mullion 2-2 Bude
Mullion entertained Bude in a league battle and after a lively 15
minutes the visitors opened the scoring with a well taken goal from
the edge of the box by Katie Horstmann after Mullion failed to clear
the ball. Mullion controlled the rest of the first half but weren't
able to find the back of the net. In the second half, Bude doubled
their lead after two minutes through Dani Salt. The hosts replied
from a deep cross by Lizzie Hosking, the keeper fumbled it and Mel
Lake was on hand to drill the ball homet. Mullion pushed forward to
score, and got their just rewards when they were awarded a penalty
two minutes from time. Emma Hurworth stepped up confidently and
slotted the ball into the bottom right hand corner for a 2-2 draw.
