Bude travelled to Marazion and once again began the game with attacking football.  Anita Symons, back from injury was hungry for the ball and little Leanne Stanbury ran like the wind up and down the left wing.  It was Leanne’s cross on 30 minutes that created the first goal, Katie Horstmann expertly chipping the outcoming keeper.  Sarah Bryant came close to increasing the lead shooting just wide and Lizzy Jenkins also had chances but it remained 0-1 at half time.  The second half started well for Bude - Katie Horstmann’s corner was met by Lizzy Jenkins who amazingly slotted in with her standing foot!  Steph Hayden at left back worked well with Leanne Stanbury, interchanging to confuse the Marazion defence and Leanne made it 3-0 when her shot from 30 yards dropped in behind the keeper. Sandra Gosling once again commanded her area, communicating well with her strong defence.  An injury forced a re-shape of the team but Bude continued to play the game, Zoe West playing some pretty football at right back. With 10 minutes to go an unusual defensive error gave Marazion the chance to earn a consolation goal and it finished 1-3.
