Bude 1- 4 Truro

Both sides of this Truro team was displayed away at Bude,the first half very poor missing several opportunities to go in front then being clever and getting caught at the back from which the dangerous Dani Salt fired Bude into the lead from. Now Bude 1 - 0 to the good and on top , but the Truro side got to half time still only the one goal down thanks to their keeper and defensive players. During the break Alan reminded the girls as to their attitude and pointed out that last weeks result counts for nothing during this game, the straight talking had the desired effect and Truro showed just what a talented squad they are by taking the game by the scruff of the neck and winning comfortably, Sarah Badham playing against her old side lead the way with her first ever hat trick . At this point Alan made use of his substitutes and one of them Jodie Newark fired in a great shot from fully 25 yards for Truro's 4th goal , but for some stout defending and good keeping Truro would have doubled their score, but they left Bude pleased that they had shown that they are capable of turning things round and hope fully realising that attitude from the first whistle is going to be the watch word. Against a Bude side that are considered to be one of the favourites for the league this is a good result.
