League Match

Sticker 4   Bude 2

Sticker deservedly took all three points against a lacklustre Bude performance. Sticker took the lead after 15 minutes, a low cross from the right was met in the box by Chris Kitson who tucked it away with ease and Kitson soon made it two nil, a ball wasn't cleared from danger and his shot was initially blocked, fell to him again to shoot and again blocked, but he wasn't closed down for his third attempt and this time made no mistake sticking it in the bottom right corner. Budes Dan Starkey picked up a yellow card for a late challenge in the box resulting in a penalty which keeper Gary Dinshaw saved well to his left. Bude pulled one back when Robbie Pearce headed a deep cross back across the edge of the box and young Adam Smith struck a superb volley in to the top right corner. Sticker went three one up with Kitson netting his hat trick and Bude looked to be out of it, however after 65 minutes they pulled one back, Tommy Statton hitting a low left foot shot just outside the box in to the bottom right corner. Bude suddenly looked like they could rescue something from the game but were then reduced to 10 men when Starkey argued about a free kick and he received his second yellow of the game. Bude were on the back foot again and Sticker won a second penalty after a foul by Budes Liam Faid but again Sticker missed from the spot. Minutes later though they did increase that lead Craig Wood heading in at the back post with Bude players just standing and watching and the three points were wrapped up.
