Lifton 2   Bude 4 

Lifton, desperate for a win started the stronger and caused Bude some problems at the back, taking the lead after 20 mins when a close range header was scored from a free kick on the left.  Bude drew level 10 mins later when Gary Dinshaw was well positioned from a corner to head home.  Immediately though Lifton went and re took the lead scoring a well taken strike from inside the box.  Bude levelled again right on the stroke of half time, a quick throw in from the right by Glen Bickle set Stevie Box running down the right and his early cross was met by Anthony Giordani who hooked his shot in to the bottom left corner.  A 'rollicking' at half time seemed to kick Bude in to gear as they came out in the second half a much more determined side and soon took the lead. A deep corner from the right saw Wayne Cornish knock back across goal and Chris Ward was at the back post to head in.  Bude controlled much more of this half with Giordani solid in central midfield with team mate Shane Looker, and a confident Matt Warburton looking superb with the gloves.  Bude settled the match in the 80th minute, a cross from the left, saw Looker finally score after seeing the ball roll down his body and grab a hard fought 3 points for Bude against plucky opposition.
