Bude virtually had the game wrapped up by half time scoring their goals in the first half against second placed St.Blazey.  Bude took the lead after 20 minutes when Steve Box curled a superb free kick in to the left hand corner.  Ten minutes later they were two up when some good build up play saw the ball played on the edge of the box to Billy Hopcroft who flicked the ball over a defenders head in to the path of Box who grabbed his second with a low shot.   St.Blazey weren't without their chances and on another day could have scored two or three in the first half as well.   Bude increased their lead after 40 mins, a Box corner was played in to the box and Tommy Statton wasn't picked up as he made a run and had a free header from 8 yards out.  The second half was fairly even, St.Blazey tried hard to get back in to the game but Bude were resolute in their defending and going forward looked dangerous with Steve Box desperate to get his hat trick but they were unable to add to their first half tally.
