Three vital points were lost by Bude in a fairly lacklustre display against an eager Polperro side.  The game produced few chances for both sides, Budes' best chance of the half came in the first 10 mins when Glen Bickle passed through to Shane Looker who's shot was saved by the keeper, he rounded the keeper on the rebound, but his early shot hit the side netting.  Polperro scored their goal after 35 mins, a Dan Hawkins corner found a completely unmarked Dave King at the back post who scored with the simplest of headers.  An even second half found both teams defending well and creating very little, Budes centre backs Dan Starkey and Wayne Cornish mopping up any likely attack.  Bude put more pressure on the Polperro side for the final 15 minutes and substitute Gary Dinshaw nearly got the equaliser with a couple of minutes remaining when his close range header from a corner was cleared off the goal line.   Keeper Matt Warburton had also come up for the corner and whilst starting to come back put in a late challenge on a Polperro player. Players reacted badly to the challenge which resulted in Polperros Marcus Wills and Matt McDonagh seeing red cards from the referee and Warburton lucky to just receive a yellow.
