Bude 2     V    Lifton 3

A shocking first half for Bude saw them go in at half time three goals down, the first goal was put through and the striker ran through and managed to lob the keeper, the second came soon after, a Lifton player left completely free on the left was fed the ball just inside the box and beat  Budes Warburton at the near post, Liftons third another ball in to the box from the right found their left winger to managed to beat his marker and hit a first time shot in to the back of the net.  Bude however clawed their way back in to the game after half time with a much more determined manner and soon pulled a goal back when Tommy Statton struck a sweet shot from 30 yards out in to the top right hand corner.  Bude soon pulled another goal back, a cross from the left saw midfielder Adam Cornish loop a header in to the goal.  Bude continued to press but couldn't find a way through.  Towards the end of the match there were calls for a Bude penalty when Simon Chadwick was brought down in the box but the referee denied the shout.  The arguments followed and Chadwick was booked, minutes later he saw red as a late tackle came in on a Lifton player.  The final whistle blew and Chadwick was again involved in a scuffle which saw two Lifton players sent off for fighting.
