Bude 4 Lanreath 0
After last weeks defeat against top of the table
Torpoint, Bude hit back this week with a comfortable four nil win
against lowly Lanreath. Bude took the lead midway through the first half
when a long punt up field by keeper Gary Dinshaw, fell just in behind
the defence, Budes Robbie Pearce brought the ball down out of the air
superbly and quickly lobbed the outcoming Lanreath keeper. Bude were
soon two nil up when a Steve box cross from the right saw Steve Smeeth
meet the cross and flicked the ball between his own legs and then the
keepers legs and in to the net. Budes third came after 70 minutes, a low
cross from the left in to the box picked out Adam Hodgson who's left
foot strike beat the keeper at the near post. Bude wrapped it up in the
80th minutes, a looping through ball from Gary Hodgson found the run of
Box who smashed it home from 12 yards out.
