Bude produced the best chances during the opening 20 minutes, but failed to capitalise in front of goal, Camelford though opened the scoring with their first real chance midway through the half when the Bude defence tried to scramble the ball away from inside their box, but a Camelford player picked the ball up and squared it back across the goal to striker Jason Rash who made no mistake from close range.  Bude equalised after 40 mins when midfielder Chris Ward played in Billy Hopcroft who smashed the ball down the middle of the goal from 20 yards out.  After an even start to the second half, Bude took the lead when Shane Looker struck a sweet strike from 30 yards out which saw the visiting keeper  tip well on to the bar, the alert Norman Foster however arrived to slot in the rebound.  Both sides continued open attacking football and there always looked like another goal was going to come from one of the teams.  Budes' Hopcroft was brought down in the box for a penalty, and he duly stepped up to tuck away the penalty and stretch Budes' lead with 10 mins left.  Camelford continued to come at Bude but some stern defending from Wayne Cornish and Dan Starkey in the centre of defence helped keep them at bay and earn Bude their first win of the campaign..
