A very even start to this game saw third placed Bere Alston take the lead after 20 minutes.  A will Westlake free kick from a narrow right hand side saw him bend his shot in to the far top left hand corner.  Billy Hopcroft was soon fouled inside the Bere Alston area and Norman Foster put the spot kick away.  The second half was again a close affair with both teams having chances to settle the tie, but no one could grab that elusive winner.
