Bude made a great start to the game with Norman Foster making his first start of the season, scoring from just outside the box after just 2 mins in to the far bottom left corner.  Bere Alston drew level shorttly after half time after relentless pressure on the Bude backline, Steve Daymond scoring from distance in to the top corner.  Bude took the lead again when Gary Dinshaw was fouled in the Bere Alston box.  A Steve Smeeth penalty was well saved, the rebound  went in the air and Smeeth produced an over head kick which this time fllew past the home keeper.  Bude should have made it three when again awarded a penalty late on. This time Smeeths penalty was chipped down the middle but went over the bar.  In the last minute Bere Alston were awarded a penalty themselves and Mark Wheeler made no mistake from the spot to level the game.
