Bude started well for the opening 10 minutes, but were then one down, when Andy Harris was found in plenty of space and struck a speculative shot from 25 yards and against the wind it dipped in under the bar.  They soon grabbed their second when their quick left midfielder got in behind the defence, shot across goal, keeper Matt Warburton saved but the ball fell to Chris Wolstencroft who tapped in.  Within minutes they were three up, Bude failed to clear a ball fully, it was played back in to the box and Harris headed goal wards, Budes Dan Starkey headed off the line, but the linesman deemed it over the line.  Bude reduced the arrears after 35 minutes when Tommy Statton played in Antony Giordarni who coolly slid his shot past the keeper for his first senior goal.  On half time Wolstencroft had a penalty saved by Warburton to keep Bude in the game. Bridge increased their lead early in to the second half when Wolstencroft was given a free header from a left sided cross.  As the game went on Bridge took more control Stuart Parkyn scoring their fifth after having a free run in on goal, Jon May made it six scoring with a great header from a free kick.  Bude left it late to produce their best move of the half, which saw the ball finally fall to Tommy Statton who smashed the ball home in the final minute.
